Richelieu Hardware invites a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our Vancouver area team. Based in our Vancouver, Whitehorse, and Richmond office, you'll deliver an outstanding purchasing experience for MRO customers, handle outbound calls, respond to inquiries, generate quotes, and process orders.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least two years in a similar role, proficiency with Microsoft Office, bilingual in French and English, and a desire to learn about products

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written.
• Eagerness to learn more about products and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify target customers within our database based on size and opportunity.
• Conduct sales calls to understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Respond to incoming inquiries by phone or email regarding products and services offered.
• Propose alternatives or substitutions as required.
• Prepare customer quotations.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop product campaigns.
• Follow up on RFQs.
• Achieve sales and margin targets.
• Build customer relationships through support and innovation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Develop knowledge of new products and procedures.
