Fountain Tire Calgary (Northland Drive) is seeking a friendly Inside Sales Associate to support our busy season with a path to permanent employment. You will help customers with quotes, schedule service, and process sales in a fast-paced shop environment.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, customer-focused service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders and schedule bookings for technicians.
• Provide quotes and obtain customer authorization; finalize sales.
• Proactively call customers to assess satisfaction with service.
• Recommend tire, wheel, and mechanical services.
• Ensure accurate billing and data entry in the system.
• Keep showroom promotions updated and organized.
• Participate in safety initiatives and complete training modules.
• Assist in inventory documentation and annual counts.

Overview

Fountain Tire Calgary (Northland Drive), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Associate!

Please note: This is a temporary position to provide support for the busy season, with the opportunity for subsequent permanent employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians
• Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
• Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received
• Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel, and mechanical service to customers
• Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
• Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
• Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site, or field.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

What does it take to get on track?

• Previous experience in the automotive repair, tire, or sales industry is preferred but not required
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required
• Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations
• Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services
• The ability to lift up to 50lbs as required
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver's Abstract
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
• A team player who takes pride in their work
