North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking a registered nurse in the Inpatient Medicine department on the 3rd floor. Patients include those admitted from the Emergency Department or transferred from CCU/Surgical Unit, with typical stays of 1–5 days.

The successful candidate must hold CNO registration, BLS within the last 12 months, CMA certification, and excel in communication and teamwork; bilingual English/French is preferred. North Bay offers a supportive, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration – College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certificate within 12 months.
• Medical clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Certified in Medication Administration with related experience.
• Experience with Dementia Care is an asset.
• CADD pump training and IV maintenance, including enteral feed and trach care.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to medical patients in a total patient care climate (wound and palliative care).
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and health teaching as needed.
• Maintain safety and attend to assigned shifts and call-ins.
