The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3B Surgical Inpatient Unit on a temporary full-time basis. You will contribute to high‑quality perioperative care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must hold a current unrestricted RN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario, BCLS certification, and recent surgical nursing knowledge. Strong assessment, planning and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current certification in BCLS
• Recent knowledge in Surgical Nursing with experience caring for pre and postoperative patients with TPN
• Ability to use the Nursing Process in care planning and delivery
• Collaborates with Registered Practice Nurses when patients are unstable
• Knowledge relevant to surgical nursing practice
• Identify and respond to abnormal patient responses
• Ability to manage multiple nursing interventions
• Strong interprofessional and communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality nursing care to patients including complex patient populations
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary health care team following Professional Standards and hospital policies
