Job summary

North Bay Regional Health Centre's Inpatient Medicine department, located on the 3rd floor (Pods C and D), cares for patients admitted from the Emergency Department or transferred from Critical Care. The unit typically manages a 1–5 day stay for medical patients.

We are seeking a Personal Support Worker or Healthcare Aide with an Ontario diploma or equivalent, current BLS, and bilingual English/French. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, meet safety standards, and support

Qualifications

• Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent required
• Personal Support Worker Certificate, HealthCare Aide Certificate or completion of minimum second (2nd) semester in a recognized nursing program required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) Certificate required (recent within the last twelve months)
• Current Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) Certificate an asset
