SFU is seeking a part-time front-line Student Services Clerk in the Registrar and Information Services. You will answer inquiries about SFU programs, student records, deadlines, financial aid, government programs, and policies, and issue transcripts and letters while processing payments.
You will also produce photo identity cards and maintain card production equipment, with a focus on accuracy and discretion in a hybrid work setting.

As the first point of contact at Student Services, you handle diverse inquiries about SFU's educational programs, student records, administrative deadlines, financial assistance, government programs, and university policies. Additionally, you issue official documentation like transcripts, confirmation letters, and process payments for tuition and services. As part of the role you will also produce photo identity cards and maintain the card production equipment.
High school graduation and general courses or training of moderate duration (one semester equivalent) including word processing, database and spreadsheet applications and in office practices. 3 years of related experience, including experience processing large volumes of cash/debit and credit card transactions, balancing receipts, providing customer service and using database applications. An equivalent combination of formal education, certificate/program of study and experience is acceptable.
