Job summary

CHEK ABC is seeking an Educational Assistant to provide individualized support for two students in their home-based learning settings. The role includes traveling to student homes and delivering tailored educational support.

The position offers an hourly rate of CAD 23 to CAD 29 and requires strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Experience with behavioural challenges is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting elementary students with behavioural challenges.
• Educational Assistant Certificate or Behaviour Intervention training is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a home-based learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to two students in home-based learning environments.

Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to provide individualized support to two (2) students in their home-based learning environments.

Rate per hour: $23 to $29

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Experience supporting elementary students with behavioural challenges.
• Educational Assistant Certificate/Behaviour Intervention training is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a home-based learning environment.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to reliably travel to and work at the student's home-based learning location.
