Job summary

MDA Space seeks a Production Supervisor - Industrialization to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on new product integration, design for manufacturing, and methodization. You will ensure products are industrialized per standards and support continuous improvement in a high-tech space environment.

The role requires 5+ years in operations with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and bilingual French/English communication.

Qualifications

• College diploma in engineering technology or equivalent.
• University degree in Operations/Production Management is an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; supervision experience is an asset.
• Strong skills in interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution, and leadership.
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical technologies involved in space hardware production.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production techniques.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Industrial Engineers, and Technologists.
• Oversees NP I activities including new product integration, design for manufacturing, and methodization.
• Manages staffing, resource allocation and succession planning.
• Monitors performance, quality, cost and schedule, and conducts performance appraisals.
• Promotes a Design for Excellence culture and supports audits and corrective actions.
• Ensures adherence to company policies and develops team processes and standards.
