Job summary

MDA Space is seeking a Production Planner III for its Montreal office to lead planning and analysis across satellite programs. You will manage schedules, coordinate with design, procurement, and manufacturing, and ensure on-time delivery while mitigating risks.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in PM/production planning, fluency in English and French, and strong analytical and communication skills. This role offers exposure to global programs and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management option or commercial sciences.
• PMI-PMP certification is an asset.
• 7+ years of experience in project management or production planning.
• Knowledge of English and French (spoken and written).
• Experience with scheduling software and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and analyze medium-sized programs from design to delivery.
• Monitor schedules for on-time completion and throughput.
• Maintain and update program schedules across Design, Procurement, and AI&T.
• Prepare and revise Production Readiness reviews with teams.
• Identify risks and propose recovery plans for schedules.
• Record resources required per activity and analyze capacity.
• Support master scheduler in improving planning methods.
