Job summary

MDA Space seeks a Reliability and Maintenance Engineer for its Montreal operations to develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans and calibration methods for production machines. You will join a multidisciplinary testing team ensuring machines meet production targets and maintenance schedules are predictable.

We value a strong engineering background with programming skills, 5+ years of experience, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
Solid foundation in programming.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance or reliability role.
Ability to communicate in French and English, both written and spoken.
Experience in a maintenance department is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans and calibration plans for operating machines.
Lead testing activities and ensure production requirements are met with predictable maintenance schedules.
Coordinate resources for scheduled work: parts, labor, documentation.
Perform failure analyses and implement solutions.
Identify areas for improvement and assess new technologies.
Lead in critical interventions and participate in equipment procurement projects.
