Job summary

PCL Industrial Constructors Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to document field activities and ensure project specifications, quality plans, and ITPs are followed.

You’ll monitor in-progress inspections, trade contractor scope inspections, and provide technical guidance to teams. You will advance QA/QC programs, support audits, and maintain relationships with stakeholders, while applying nuclear quality experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, ideally in heavy industrial construction.
• Nuclear QA experience preferred; other heavy industrial QA/QC experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project specifications, codes, standards and subcontract details for quality requirements.
• Supports development, implementation and maintenance of quality management systems.
• Conducts in-process and final shop inspections and subcontractor surveillance.
• Provides technical guidance to procurement, engineering, consultants and suppliers.

Bachelor of Engineering

Quality certifications (CSA/AWS/CWI/API)
