PCL Industrial Constructors Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta seeks a Nuclear Project Manager to provide executive-level oversight, contract administration and technical leadership on industrial projects.

You will guide safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive budget, schedule and profitability targets. This role emphasizes risk management, stakeholder coordination, and design-build oversight where applicable, with opportunities for professional growth within a 100% employee-owned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring preferred.
• Demonstrated safety culture and knowledge of health, safety, and environment principles.
• Background in nuclear quality assurance and knowledge of nuclear codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support to industrial construction projects.
• Develops and implements the project safety plan and leads by example for health and safety practices and procedures.
• Ensures the project is executed in accordance with approved design, codes, standards, budget, quality, and schedule.
• Understands client drivers and offers value engineering proposals for functionality, cost, and schedule benefits.
• Supports the quality manager with nuclear quality activities and regulatory requirements.
• Manages project performance and provides status reports for safety, cost, and schedule.
• Negotiates subcontracts and major purchase orders, monitors progress and schedule.
• Develops and coordinates overall project closeout and manages risk.
