Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Canada. is seeking an Electrical Quality Control professional for the Nuclear Island segment, reporting to the Project Quality Manager.

You will supervise QC staff, develop project-specific procedures, and interface with engineering and construction to ensure adherence to design codes and standards, while supporting audits and regulatory requirements. Based in Darlington, ON, the role emphasizes safety, quality culture, and continuous improvement, with duties spanning inspection

Qualifications

• A minimum, a college graduate in a related field.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician with nuclear sector experience.
• Experience with electrical control systems and their installation.
• Familiarity with codes and standards such as OESC, CSA/N285, N299, ANSI N690.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Nuclear Island QC requirements are effectively controlled and executed.
• Develop and implement project-specific QC procedures and work instructions.
• Supervise the Quality Control Team for the Nuclear Island segment.
• Interface with engineering, procurement and construction for QC planning.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans, Construction Work Packages and NCR management.
• Create and improve QC documentation like checklists, test protocols and procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement for project effectiveness.
• Perform timely inspections aligned with construction schedule.
• Maintain liaison with Alliance Partners on QC requirements.
• Support internal audits and customer oversight activities.
• Assist with understanding codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve Lifetime Records (LTRs).
