Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Canada is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Inspector for the Nuclear Island segment. The role reports to the Project Quality Manager and oversees QC staff, ensuring construction quality and compliance with codes.

Based on the Darlington project, the candidate will coordinate with Alliance partners and internal teams to achieve safety and quality metrics. The position requires a college degree, a licensed Journeyman Electrician certification, and experience in nuclear heavy

Qualifications

• A college graduate in a related field is required.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician is required.
• Experience in the nuclear heavy construction / fabrication industry is required.
• Experience with a variety of electrical control systems and their installation.
• Understanding of codes and standards (OESC, CSA, ISO 9001) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QC requirements for Nuclear Island are effectively controlled and executed.
• Develop and implement project quality control procedures and work instructions.
• Supervise the QC team assigned to the Nuclear Island segment.
• Interface with engineering, procurement, and construction on QC planning and documents.
• Collaborate to develop QA/QC documentation and procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement and nuclear safety culture.
• Support internal audits and customer oversight activities.
