Job summary

Aecon Concessions is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for the Shoreline Power Group JV in Kincardine, ON. You will perform quality inspections on FCFR construction activities, follow Inspection and Test Plans, and review CMTRs to ensure conformance with codes and customer specs.

The role requires welding QA/QC background, ASME/BPV, Nuclear ISO 9001, and CWB experience. You will support safety, development, and an inclusive culture at Aecon.

Qualifications

• Graduate in welding technology, QA/QC or related discipline from a college or university.
• W178 Level 1 or 2 Visual Weld inspection (preferred).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• ASME Code, B&PV plus Nuclear/ISO 9001 and CWB experience.
• Experience in receiving inspections and controls in a Nuclear Qualified Warehouse and Clean Room is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in execution of the Inspection and Test Plans.
• Perform quality inspection per related codes and customer specs.
• Include dimensional inspections, visual welding inspection, hardness testing, PMIs.
• Review Certified Material Test Reports as required.
• Perform internal weld monitoring and complete inspection documentation.
• Track non-conformances and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain a cost-of-quality tracking system.
