Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a certified Millwright for a hands-on maintenance role in a manufacturing setting. The position focuses on repairing and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with hands-on work on presses, conveyors, robotic cells, and welding systems.

Ideal candidates have a 433A certification and an apprenticeship, plus experience with lean manufacturing and PM programs. The role requires physical work and safety-conscious practices in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Industrial Millwright 433A.
• Formal millwright apprenticeship or related technical education.
• Strong experience troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including reading and interpreting schematics.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-onexperience with presses, conveyors, robotic cells, and welding systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Comfortable with physically demanding work, including working at heights.
• Basic machine shop experience and confident use of hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting preventative maintenance (PM) programs or training apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and systems with a focus on hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Respond to breakdowns and support preventative maintenance activities.
• Hands-on work with production equipment such as presses, conveyors, robotic cells, and welding systems; basic machine shop work, fabrication, and welding as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, prioritize safety, and contribute to reliable, efficient manufacturing operations.
