Job summary

Jadee Meat Products in Beamsville, Ontario, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for a full-time day shift (6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.). The role includes preventive maintenance, servicing of machinery, and working with outside contractors to keep the plant running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Ontario Red Seal Industrial Mechanic licensed millwright and/or electrician tickets are preferred.
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent – maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving ability: recognize, assess, report, and provide solutions.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Set-up equipment prior to production start-up.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment and machinery.
• Upkeep of building facilities.
• Inspect materials and tools inventory and place orders with supervisor help.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Our team is actively seeking an experienced, honest, energetic and hard-working individual to fill the full-time role in our Maintenance Department for the day shift (6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

Responsibilities

• Set-up equipment prior to production start-up.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines
• Troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment and machinery.
• Upkeep of building facilities.
• Inspect the materials and tools inventory and place orders when needed with the assistance of the maintenance supervisor.
• Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work (e.g., hand and power tools, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Develop and follow maintenance procedures.
• Perform all work in a safe manner and within all compliance requirements to avoid personal injury.
• Work with outside contractors

Essential Skills
