Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking a Millwright (Apprentice or Licensed) to join our Maintenance department on the night shift in Hanover, Ontario. Responsibilities include teardown/setup of production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting maintenance staff within a robust PM program.

The position offers competitive hourly rates: Apprentice $35.64, Licensed $42.76, with a 0.60/hour shift premium and a 1.25/hour weekly attendance incentive for night shifts from 10:00pm to 6:00am.

Qualifications

• 433A license or eligible to obtain
• Experience with fabrication
• Experience in installation and repair of machines and equipment is an asset
• Experience in stainless steel fabrication and repair is an asset
• Competent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work after-hours tasks and with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

Compensation

• Apprentice: $35.64/hour (33.79/hour + 0.60/hour shift premium + $1.25/hour weekly attendance incentive)
• Licensed: $42.76/hour ($40.91/hour + $0.60/hour shift premium + $1.25/hour weekly attendance incentive)
