Combined Metal Industries Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant and yard equipment in outdoor and indoor environments. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems while supporting production needs.
The role requires welding proficiency (MIG/STICK/TIG) and robust safety practices, with flexibility for shifts, overtime, and travel within an 11 km radius of the yards.

Combined Metal Industries (CMI for short!) sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!
In this role you will perform direct troubleshooting maintenance work for repair, adjustment, adaptation, re-design, preventative maintenance and installation of all plant and yard equipment, machinery and infrastructure in order to assist in a safe and productive work environment for all employees. This position is performed outside in our recycling yards as well as indoors in our maintenance shop.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery, to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
