Job summary

Combined Metal Industries Inc. is hiring a Night Shift Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our Shipping & Receiving team at our Vaughan, ON facility. This full-time role supports receiving, sorting, processing, and shipping recycled metals in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience and a strong commitment to quality service, teamwork, and compliance. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7:30 AM, contributing to efficient yard operations

Qualifications

• Good English communication skills.
• Experience in an industrial facility and general labour is an asset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process materials manually.
• Deliver high levels of customer service as materials enter the yard.
• Assist with inquiries and provide information as required.
• Operate hand and power tools to remove batteries, fluids, refrigerants, tires.
• Move items to storage areas and containers.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the yard.

Night Shift Counterbalance Forklift Operator/Shipping & Receiving

Location: 8470 Keele Street, Vaughan, ON L4K 2S1

Shift: Sunday to Thursday 11 PM to 7:30 AM

Expected Salary: $19/hr and up based upon experience and qualifications

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

Working in a team environment and support the receiving, sorting, processing, and shipping of recycled metal.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually sort and process materials


• Deliver the highest levels of customer service as customers enter the yard


• Answer customer questions and assist with any inquiries as required


• Using hand and power tools remove: Batteries, Fluids, Refrigerants, Switches, Tires


• Move items that have been removed to applicable storage areas/containers


• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep area and yard clean, organized and safe

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial facility and general labour is an asset


• Previous experience working with power tools is an assess


• Good English communication skills


• Posses the desire and ability to learn
