Job summary

Combined Metal Industries is seeking a Night Shift Counterbalance Forklift Operator to support shipping and receiving at our Vaughan, ON facility. The role runs Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7:30 AM, with compensation starting at $19/hr based on experience.

You will assist with receiving, sorting, processing, and shipping of recycled metals, operating a counterbalance forklift and maintaining a safe, organized yard. Prior industrial/general labour experience and Power tools familiarity are assets.

Qualifications

• Industrial facility experience and general labour is an asset.
• Power tools experience is an asset.
• Good English communication skills.
• Desire and ability to learn.

• Manually sort and process materials
• Deliver the highest levels of customer service as customers enter the yard
• Answer customer questions and assist with any inquiries as required
• Using hand and power tools remove: Batteries, Fluids, Refrigerants, Switches, Tires
• Move items that have been removed to applicable storage areas/containers
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep area and yard clean, organized and safe

Job Summary
