PTW is hiring a night shift Industrial Electrical Supervisor to join our project team in Fort St John, BC.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Initiate, coordinate, direct, and schedule site personnel to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist with the optimizations of mechanical and electrical design drawings.
  • Assist in preparation and negotiation of mechanical and electrical subcontracts.
  • Monitor the overall progress of the project and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Maintains a respectful and engaging work environment for all employees.
  • Ensures that PTW policies and project procedures are being adhered to; including PTW's Health Safety, Security and Environmental Policies.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with customers, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and review reports on progress, costs, materials used and adjust work schedules as required.
  • Accountable for compliance with the union agreement.
  • Prepare overall work plan and schedule in conjunction with Site Superintendent and Project Manager.
Experience Requirements
  • Must be local to the area.
  • Must be a Journeyman Electrician.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in industrial and oil field experience.
  • A demonstrated ability to work safely.
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol pre‑access.
  • 5/2 Night Rotation.
  • Detail and deadline oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and 18 years or older.
Tickets Requirements
  • Must have applicable safety tickets (i.e. CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Fall Arrest, Aerial Work Platform).
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
