Forge Consulting Group is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Windsor, Ontario. The role focuses on developing new business, managing strategic accounts, and delivering customized automation and machine vision solutions across multiple industries.

The position involves two days per week in the Windsor office and three days allocated to travel, customer visits, and business development. Travel includes international opportunities and US visa considerations.

Competenze

Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Automation, Business, or related field.
Experience in technical sales, business development, account management, automation, or manufacturing.
Knowledge of machine vision systems, PLCs, robotics or automation technologies.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel regularly, including internationally, and meet visa requirements.

Mansioni

Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers.
Manage strategic accounts and expand the customer base across industrial markets.
Lead the sales process, including prospecting, technical consultations, proposals, negotiations, and project handovers.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized automation and machine vision solutions.
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, cost estimates, and client presentations.
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, equipment availability, and lead times.
Maintain sales pipelines, customer information, and performance metrics using CRM and ERP systems.
Attend customer meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events.
Identify market trends and opportunities for business growth.
Coordinate with project management teams to support successful project execution.
