Job summary

Forge Consulting Group is seeking a Machine Vision Engineer to install, program, and commission machine vision and automation systems at customer sites, and to develop 2D and 3D machine vision applications.

Travel across Canada, the U.S., and possibly internationally; collaborate with engineering teams and customers to deliver customized solutions, requiring strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience assisting with machine vision programming.
• Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, electronics, and automation systems.
• Valid Ontario G driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across Canada, the U.S., and potentially internationally.
• Ability to meet applicable U.S. work authorization requirements; police clearance required upon hire.
