Job summary

Ontario Native Women’s Association (ONWA) seeks an Indigenous Anti-Human Trafficking Development Coordinator to strengthen community responses, build capacity, and create culturally informed resources.

You will work with Indigenous communities and partners to develop trainings and awareness programs, reporting to the Community Development Manager to advance ONWA’s mission and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Indigenous Studies, Women’s Studies, Community Development, or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in community service delivery, program coordination, capacity building, or project coordination roles.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, curriculum development, and training delivery skills.
• Experience developing educational resources, workshops, awareness materials, and community-based tools.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating partnerships, networks, and collaborative initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop training resources and awareness initiatives that support culturally informed, trauma-informed services.
• Collaborate with Indigenous communities, service providers, and partner organizations.
• Report to the Community Development Manager and contribute to organizational capacity building.
