Job summary

Ontario Native Women's Association (ONWA) seeks a Community Training Facilitator to design and implement culturally rooted training programs for the Anti Racism Project and related initiatives. The role focuses on training health care professionals across Ontario to recognize Indigenous women's and families’ needs with sensitive, respectful approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilitation and training processes.
• Experience coordinating workshops/conferences and engaging stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture, traditions, and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for the Anti Racism Project.
• Train health care professionals province-wide in culturally grounded healthcare practices.
• Collect resource materials and ensure accessibility of materials for diverse audiences.
• Build and maintain internal and external partnerships to support program delivery.
