We are seeking a Cook to join our Indian Cuisine Restaurant located in Burlington.

Our restaurant is looking for a responsible and hard-working team member to join our kitchen. Interested candidates should apply with their contact information and work history.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare assigned food items following methods and procedures under the guidance of a Chef.
• Plan ingredient quantities and assemble ingredients and equipment for cooking.
• Prepare quality food within established timeframes.
• Cook and season items such as soups, sauces, meats, fish, poultry, and vegetables.
• Be comfortable working with a tandoor.
• Take ownership of tasks and work on inventory control, wastage reduction, and continuous learning.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience cooking Indian cuisine.
• At least 2 years of experience in Indian cooking.

Nice to have:

• Experience in South Indian cuisine.
• Experience working with a tandoor is an advantage.
