Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd. is seeking Independent Contractors for our LCV fleet domiciled in AB, SK and MB. This position runs a Monday to Friday schedule between Edmonton, AB and Regina, SK, delivering freight safely and maintaining professional communications with customers.

Qualifications

• Must own your own truck (5 years or newer).
• Class 1A license.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience.
• LCV experience.
• Ability to drive in all terrains.
• Experience with heaters and reefers.
• Safe driving record verified by a current drivers abstract.
• Ability to perform all duties without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner.
• Handle freight and freight documents.
• Perform Pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
• Professional communication with customers.
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety.
• Perform all other duties as requested.
