The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Brampton to lead a fast-paced retail team and drive sales while controlling costs.

You will mentor Associates, implement company programs, and optimize store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Ideal candidates have at least five years of retail leadership, strong decision-making and communication skills, and a proven track record in merchandising, loss prevention, and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of retail leadership in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Proven management and team leadership skills, focused on collaboration and problem-solving.
• Strong ability to lead and empower diverse teams, making effective decisions.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills, adept at mentoring and providing feedback.
• Comprehensive knowledge of store operations, including customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations to boost sales, control expenses, minimize shrink and damages, including merchandise presentation, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving.
• Recruit, train, and develop Associates, ensuring they are supported and motivated. Act as a role model and provide input on succession planning and development plans.
• Communicate and implement TJX Canada programs, procedures, and policies to minimize risk and expenses. Review store reports, conduct walkthroughs, audits, and hold program meetings with Associates. Develop and communicate action plans for store initiatives, identifying projects, targets, and priorities.
• Suggest recommendations to the District Manager and Business Development teams on merchandise mix, inventory levels, and customer demographics. Provide insights on competition analysis, including pricing, presentation, and customer service.
