School District 72 (Campbell River) seeks a 1.0 FTE Inclusion Support Teacher to join the Inclusive Education Department. The role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs and coordinating IEPs in collaboration with classroom teachers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Special Education with coursework in Reading Disabilities, Math Remediation, Exceptional Children, Behavior Interventions, and Assessment & Evaluation with Level B tools.
• 5–10 years of recent experience as a Learning Support Teacher.
• Extensive knowledge of modification and adaptation strategies for varying student needs.
• Strong time management, record keeping, and collaborative communication.
• Advocacy for students with special needs and diverse learning styles.
• Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in consultation with stakeholders.
