Ideal candidates bring a valid security license, knowledge of relevant statutes, and experience with CCTV and surveillance tools, along with strong communication and integrity to protect people and property

Qualifications

• Valid Provincial Security Guard License and knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada.
• Experience with CCTV, surveillance tools, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Protect & deter – actively prevent theft, fraud, and policy violations in-store.
• Apprehend with confidence – safely detain offenders per laws and procedures.
• Investigate & collaborate – conduct internal/external investigations and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Reduce shrink – identify loss trends with store leadership and implement prevention strategies.
• Support operations – ensure compliance with security policies and provincial regulations.
• Stay agile – adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
