Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking an Asset Protection professional in Milton, Ontario to safeguard customers, colleagues, and assets across our retail locations. You will deter theft, investigate incidents, and work with law enforcement as required to maintain a safe shopping environment.

The role requires a valid Provincial Security Guard License, knowledge of applicable laws, and the ability to operate CCTV and surveillance tools.

Qualifications

Valid Provincial Security Guard License and knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Experience with CCTV, surveillance tools, and Microsoft Office.
Professional presence with strong communication skills.
High level of integrity, accountability and proactive problem-solving.
Retail experience in grocery/pharmacy or high-volume environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

Protect & Deter theft, fraud, and policy violations in-store.
Apprehend suspects safely and lawfully following company policies and law.
Investigate and collaborate with law enforcement as needed.
Reduce shrink by identifying loss trends and implementing prevention strategies.
Support store operations with security standards and provincial regulations.
Stay agile in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
40 hours per week; shift could start at 8:00 AM and end at midnight.
