Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join Bayshore Therapy & Rehab for in-home care in Penetanguishene, ON. The role is casual, independent contractor, with a pay rate of $70-100/hr and duties including assessment, treatment, and client education.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, be registered in good standing, and have at least two years of OT experience, with in-home work and documentation emphasis.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration in good standing with provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
• At least two years of experience providing occupational therapy services, preferred.
• In-home assessments and treatments experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and establish/revise treatment goals and discharge plans.
• Document assessment results, goals, treatment, progress and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with health team and communicate recommendations to clients and care providers.
• Provide education on treatment strategies and guide others in OT program tasks.
• Maintain professional standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
