Job summary

Skillhub Solutions Inc. in Vaughan, ON is seeking a full-time field technician to support in-cab technology deployments and related fleet systems. You will install, troubleshoot, and train users, with travel for onsite installations.

You should have a degree in IT/engineering and strong communication skills; bilingual French/English is highly preferred. The role involves hands-on support and collaboration with drivers and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or related field preferred; relevant technical certifications are an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, training, and communication skills.
• French-English bilingualism is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user support tickets for in‑cab applications and systems.
• Install and support technology solutions, including fleet management and camera systems.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues on-site and remotely, monitor system performance, and coordinate with internal teams and third‑party support.
• Create training guides and knowledge base articles, and deliver training to drivers and staff.
• Test fixes, follow up on resolved issues, and communicate problems to stakeholders.
• Analyze system performance and recommend upgrades or process improvements.
• Travel locally for installations, training, and on-site support.
