Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation at Canada’s Wonderland is seeking an on-site IT helpdesk team member to support POS, Debit/Credit, and related systems. You will address on-site and phone IT issues, perform hardware/software troubleshooting, and help maintain our network and PC routines to ensure smooth operations.

We welcome applicants aged 18+, who can lift up to 50 lbs and have access to safety shoes.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems.
• Working knowledge of network topologies (Ethernet) and protocols (TCP/IP).
• Candidates with networking experience are an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and provide safety shoes.

This is a vacant position. Candidates must be minimum 18 years of age and meet the requirements listed below.

Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll provide associates and guests with exceptional service when they visit the park.

• Analyze, prioritize, and respond to specific issues with Point-of-Sale, Debit/Credit, and related systems
• Address IT helpdesk issues on-site and over the phone
• Resolve in house and 3rd party software and hardware issues
• Ensure adherence to defined policies and procedures within department and company-wide
• Research, resolve, and respond to highly complex issues, providing expert and creative solutions
• Perform upgrades and preventative maintenance to PC’s
• Perform daily system routines
• Have other opportunities to learn and expand knowledge

Qualifications

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems
• Working knowledge of network topologies (i.e.: Ethernet, 100BaseT), network protocols (i.e.: TCP/IP), and applications (i.e.: FTP, Telnet/SSH, VNC)
• Individuals that have networking experience (an asset)
• Candidates that have a valid Ontario Driver’s License (G2/G) with a clean abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and must provide own safety shoes
• Availability that includes working flexible shifts on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
