Job summary

Canada’s Wonderland is seeking an attractions team member in Vaughan to help deliver memorable guest experiences. You’ll build props, crew sets, paint scenes, and support the park’s live events while upholding safety standards.

The role requires physical work, available weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays, and includes an 18.50 CAD/hour wage. You’ll join a diverse, fun team at a premier Ontario amusement destination.

Qualifications

• Education or work experience in theatre production is an asset.
• Experience with scenic painting is an asset.
• Willing to work in a hands-on environment and take on leadership as assigned.
• Able to lift 40lbs and work in confined and dark spaces.
• Able to multi-task and work efficiently.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence (G, G2).
• Reliable transportation to accommodate early/late shifts.
• CSA approved steel toe footwear required.
• Able to wear PPE as needed.
• Availability includes weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build props of various sizes for attractions.
• Set dressing all indoor attractions and park locations.
• Paint sets.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with construction and setup of attractions.
• Collaborate with the technical team to set up props and theming.
• Assist with tear down after events.
• Take on other duties as required.

$18.50 / hour

This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years.

• Building of props of various sizes for attractions
• Set dressing all ten indoor attractions and various locations around the park
• Painting sets
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Assist with the construction, assembly and general set up of attractions
• Work with the technical team to set up props and theming throughout the Park
• Following the event, assist with the tear down process of all attractions and theming
• Assist with other duties as required

• Must provide CSA approved steel toe footwear
• Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc)
• Availability that includes working on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
