Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master degree in civil/structural/mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years in transmission projects.
- Registered professional engineer in Canada (ON or other province) if applicable.
- Proficient in design/analysis software and CAD systems.
- Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Develop safe engineering solutions for medium complexity utilities projects.
- Support project and operations management to meet safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets.
- Resolve technical design and field problems with independent analysis and judgment.
- Contribute to engineering practices by developing standards and guidance.
- Deliver engineering design documentation and plans per company practices.
- Design overhead line structures for 60kV–500kV in utility environments.
- Prepare reports, specs, and estimates; manage design tasks and scopes.
