Job summary

Nav Canada in Ottawa is seeking a Supervisor, Technical Publications to lead the planning, coordination, quality control, publication and archival of MINDX technical documents, including SPs, T-BMS documents and waivers, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, bilingual communication, proficiency with SharePoint Online and Maximo, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with technical publications and document management systems.
• Experience in a deadline-driven environment with competing priorities.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Technical Publications team to meet performance standards.
• Lead editorial review, formatting, translation coordination, publication and archival activities.
• Establish work priorities and resolve scheduling conflicts to ensure timely publication.
• Monitor workload and adjust priorities to maintain service standards.
• Coordinate English and French versions on MINDX and What’s New page.
• Serve as liaison between Technical Publications and the Technical Review Team and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate weekly publication updates with external stakeholders and partner organizations.
• Create, manage and monitor SRFs in Maximo.
• Act as the primary contact for technical publication inquiries and issue resolution.
