Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive full-cycle recruitment for shop, trade, and salaried roles in Calgary. You will partner with shop supervisors to forecast needs, build strong pipelines, and boost employer brand with social channels. The role emphasizes ATS usage, structured onboarding, and data-driven staffing decisions.

You will work in a flexible hybrid setup (up to 1 WFH day/week) within our HR team, contributing to growth and operational success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition experience.
• Experience partnering with shop supervisors, superintendents, and foremen to forecast hiring needs.
• Proven ability to source passive candidates via social media and job boards.
• Strong written and verbal communication for engaging hiring managers and candidates.
• Familiarity with ATS, candidate databases, and Google Workspace tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for shop, trade, hourly, and salaried roles.
• Develop innovative candidate attraction strategies across boards and networks.
• Collaborate with leadership to forecast manpower needs and build talent pipelines.
