Job summary

Desjardins Group is seeking a securities member and client service agent to help serve members and clients with a focus on discretionary management, mutual funds, ETFs and structured products. You will support investment advisors with research, information requests and client communications, while maintaining strong relationships and service standards.

Role emphasizes customer service, team support, and identifying opportunities to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of French is required.
• Attestation of Collegial Studies or equivalent is required.
• Three years of relevant experience minimum.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, customer service and business development support to investment advisors and the team.
• Respond to information requests from clients regarding their accounts and the firm’s products and services.
• Conduct research and follow up as needed to deliver quality service.
• Forward requests to the right person.
• Help members/clients choose and get the most of their tools and channels based on independence and automation preferences.
• Take phone calls and forward information requests to the right person.
• Identify team operational risks and opportunities for improvement.
