Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a securities advisor to build and maintain strong relationships with members and clients across multiple channels. You will analyze client needs, develop personalized investment solutions, and promote a broad range of securities products including mutual funds, ETFs and structured products.

You will establish advisory relationships, set strategic goals, and work to balance sales objectives with prudent risk management and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• To be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Registered Representative with CIRO.
• Proficiency of French both oral and written.
• Interpersonal Savvy and commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention.
• Set goals and advise members and clients on the best solutions and strategies.
• Analyze and meet complex client needs, handle requests and follow up as needed.
• Collect, compile and analyze data.
• Prepare reports and recommendations.
• Oversee portfolios.
• Assess customer satisfaction and service quality, follow up and make improvements as needed.
• Monitor the industry to stay on top of the latest trends, opportunities and best practices in your field.
