Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a securities advisor to build and maintain relationships with members and clients, focusing on discretionary management, mutual funds, ETFs and structured products. You will identify needs, propose tailored solutions, and collaborate with partners to promote and sell products in line with business objectives.

The role requires a college diploma, at least two years of relevant experience, and strong French/English communication skills.

Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
• Strong communication skills in French and English, both oral and written due to interactions with english-speaking partners, members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention.
• Advise members and clients on specialized products, services and solutions and ensure satisfaction; analyze and meet special client needs.
• Collect, compile and analyze data; prepare reports and recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with latest standards, products and services in the field.
