Job summary

Quartech, an IT solutions and consulting company with offices in BC, Victoria and Vancouver, is seeking an Operations Analyst to support mission-critical BC Ministry applications in a high-volume environment. You’ll ensure reliable execution of operational processes, manage batch cycles, and assist with incident, change, and release management.

Location: Hybrid in BC or remote across Alberta & Ontario (PST hours).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in a professional IT environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours including shift coverage 7:00–20:00 and one weekend per month.
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to service excellence.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; collaborate with clients and vendors.
• Experience with multiple external clients and vendors; strong analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for BC Ministry applications and production control tasks.
• Support daily operations and scheduled tasks from 7:00 to 20:00 on working days.
• Maintain stability and efficiency of scheduled batch processing streams.
• Coordinate migrations, issue troubleshooting, and post-migration activities.
• Use ServiceNow for incident, change, and release management processes.
• Assist with month-end payment processing and reports as needed.
