MainframeMaster is seeking an IT Operations Analyst II for Host Operations in Toronto, ON. The role supports 24/7/365 operations with 12-hour rotating shifts, handling incident and change management for the IMS, CICS, DASDs, and ATLs in a large mainframe environment.

The successful candidate will monitor z/OS, batch processing, and distributed environments, coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure service availability and prompt resolution of outages.

Qualifications

• z/OS infrastructure monitoring experience.
• Experience with z/OS batch processing.
• Distributed environment and network monitoring experience.
• AS/400 batch processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Incident management for outages; communicate with clients during outages.
• Change management to ensure stability of production environments; support testing and problem resolution.
• Install, configure, and upgrade business applications/systems with stakeholders.
