Job summary

BC Pension Corporation in Victoria, BC seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to identify system requirements, lead functional testing, and resolve complex issues affecting critical business systems. You will align business and technology needs with the Corporation’s priorities, provide expert advice, and drive multiple projects while collaborating with staff and stakeholders across the organization.

You will also coach and mentor analysts on a potential small to mid-sized team.

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years experience leading business analysis on large scale operations.
Experience leading system projects with demanding timelines.

Responsibilities

Identify system requirements and lead functional testing.
Resolve complex issues and improve efficiency and reliability of critical business systems.
Align evolving business and technology needs with strategic priorities and system standards.
Provide expert advice, lead multiple projects, and collaborate with staff and stakeholders across the organization.
Coach and mentor business services staff and potentially lead a team of analysts.
