Job summary

Medavie is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing of IT hardware, software and services, aligning procurement with business objectives and roadmaps. You will drive value through supplier partnerships, contract optimization and risk management.

You will collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance and business teams to guide procurement across the lifecycle, while leveraging market insights and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of IT procurement and supplier management.
• Certification in PMAC/SCMP/ISM/CTPE are nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT hardware, software and services procurement and renewals while ensuring compliance and supporting business objectives.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships and drive improvements in value, quality and risk management.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities through contract optimization, standardization, consolidation and demand management.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance and business teams to provide procurement guidance throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate procurement processes with documentation, templates, and training materials.
• Stay informed on market trends and AI-enabled tools to support informed decision-making and efficiency.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
