Job summary

National Bank in Montreal is seeking an International Payments Operations Analyst to support the evolution and execution of strategies across business sectors. You will actively contribute to processes related to international payments and play a key role in the Bank’s ongoing transformation.

The role emphasizes autonomy, rigor, and proactive daily execution, with collaboration across areas to provide technical support and information for decision-making that improves work processes.

Qualifications

• College diploma or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent.
• Proven ability to deliver fast and efficient customer service.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong ability to work under pressure while maintaining versatility, attention to detail, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for transaction settlement activities within the international payments sector.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end business process and become a key reference in the field.
• Demonstrate autonomy, rigor, and proactivity in the execution of daily responsibilities.
• Use your initiative to anticipate needs and effectively resolve operational issues.
• Analyze discrepancies in operational processes and take the required actions in collaboration with partners and clients.
• Collaborate with various areas of the Bank to provide technical support to stakeholders involved in day-to-day operations.
• Provide relevant information to support decision-making and make recommendations aimed at improving work processes.
