Job summary

Randstad Canada is partnering with a client in the insurance sector to hire an Account Analyst for a 6-month assignment in Markham. The role offers CAD 19.57 per hour with on-site training followed by a hybrid work arrangement.

The successful candidate will handle billing inquiries, investigate discrepancies with brokers and underwriters, and provide empathetic customer service via phone and email. Training onsite is approximately two weeks.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a call center environment.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced space.
• Professional telephone/email talent and etiquette.
• Proficiency in word processing and Excel.
• Desirable bilingual French knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-in-class service to customers/brokers by supporting billing inquiries in a professional, timely and courteous manner.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a joint effort with brokers and underwriters on billing matters.
• Act as Company Ambassadors in supporting inbound insurance/claims inquiries with accurate triage to the appropriate team.
• Communicate clearly, effectively and empathetically to customers via phone and email; describe programs/services available.
• Identify customer needs and respond appropriately and professionally.
• Obtain relevant information to provide a seamless interaction when supporting inquiries.
• Take ownership of customer relations and follow through.
