Job summary

Infosys is seeking an HR Business Partner to join its HRD team in Calgary, Alberta. This hands-on, individual contributor role supports a defined business unit through core HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, and day-to-day people management support.

The position is designed for mid-career HR professionals who work closely with managers to deliver operational HR services, policies, and analytics, without owning enterprise-level HR strategy or team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution; Infosys will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 5-6 years of progressive HR experience, primarily within a generalist or business partner capacity.
• Location for this position is Calgary, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate. Travel may be required up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Support and execute core HR operations and employee lifecycle activities for a defined employee population
• Partner with managers to provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and policy application
• Execute unit‑specific performance management processes within established frameworks
• Support employee assimilation, hiring, and deployment activities in collaboration with recruiting and HR teams
• Monitor employee governance processes and adherence to the code of conduct, escalating concerns as appropriate
• Prepare and maintain standard HR reports, analytics, and metrics to support HR processes
• Assist with periodic HR communications to ensure effective delivery of HR services
• Support candidate and employee engagement efforts, including timely and fair feedback mechanisms
