Job summary

Canlin Energy Corporation in Calgary is seeking an HR Advisor to support day-to-day generalist activities, including recruitment, payroll, performance management and HR reporting. Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will collaborate with a diverse range of employees and stakeholders across the organization.

This full-time role (40 hours per week) is based in the downtown Calgary office with the option to work from home up to one day per week.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in Human Resources, business administration or similar.
• 2-5 years of Human Resources experience or in a similar role.
• Experience using PayWorks would be considered an asset.
• Oil and gas industry experience would be considered an asset.
• CPHR designation or working toward designation would be an asset.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support HR activities such as hiring, onboarding, employee life cycle adjustments and payroll.
• Prepare materials, tools and documentation needed to support HR programs.
• Prepare job descriptions and job ads; post jobs.
• Assist with full-cycle recruitment; schedule interviews, support selection process, and coordinate new hire paperwork and orientation.
• Coordinate with internal payroll resources to answer employee questions; provide backup payroll support.
